Referencing Classical Antiquity, Buddhist dicta, abstract shapes in the full "push and pull" mode-among other things-these paintings deploy collage and assemblage (period textiles, record covers, vinyl contact paper,actual books ,etc.) as the main painting strategy.
The works are an amalgam of multiple allusions in our post-post everything age.
